We are currently recruiting the role of Finance Manager to manage our accounts and financial reporting function.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Your position as a Finance Manager is predominantly responsible for the financial and accounting activities of the company and maintaining the company's financial records. In addition, monitor the company's funds and suggest policy proposals or planning. You will directly report to Managing Director and work alongside to co-ordinate the budgets and forecast for the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Ensure effective management of the company's cash flow
- Working alongside Managing Director to maintain the company's budget, and the spending and expenses are minimal.
- Compliance management for the accounting process including general ledgers, bank reconciliations and payroll.
- Oversee and maintain accounting system and review invoices/payment requests.
- Completing the company's monthly and year-end journals, reporting and reconciliations
- Oversee and ensure balance sheets, profit & loss statements, BAS, Superannuation, Workers Compensation, GST reporting are tax compliance
- Prepare annual budget reports and cash-flow forecast.
- Oversee the accuracy of bank reconciliations and transactions
- Oversee and prepare reports for taxation returns of the company
- Conduct financial analysis to identify the key operation weakness
- Interpreting financial implications performance and plan accounting strategies and policies
