The role:
The purpose of this role for the end-to-end management of financial related activities for NSW Private Hospitals in conjunction with the Chief Financial Officer. This statewide role and function is responsible for delivering timely, accurate and relevant reports and analysis for internal and external stakeholders. This includes business analysis, budget formulation, monthly management reporting, finance administration, and ownership of a broad range of accounting processes. High attention to detail and a data integrity focus is a must. Delivering to management accurate and timely information. The role oversees the Finance department, which comprises of accounting procedures and administrative functions.

Your skills and experience:
- Experience in performing management accounting and performance reporting processes in a large, complex organisation.
- Experience and understanding of private hospital operations, funding models and health fund contracts.
- Demonstrated experience in financial analysis and business case development.
- Understanding of revenue development and management.
- Demonstrated experience in using computerised financial accounting and human resource management systems.
- Demonstrated management experience.
- Demonstrated experience in working with a large financial accounting system and management reporting system.
- High level communication, influencing and interpersonal skills, including liaison and negotiation with a wide range of stakeholders
- Excellent organizational, analytical and conceptual skills and demonstrated experience in implementing change, including in financial policies, procedures and processes, across a decentralised organisation
Remuneration package will be based on experience level and relevant qualifications + salary packaging
