Business Growth Manager
Direct Selling Australia is the industry association for Direct Selling in this country and has been for more than 50 years. We represent and support organisations that manufacture and distribute goods and services sold directly to consumers. Around 45 Direct Selling organisations (DSO’s) are members – including many well-known household brands like Thermomix, Isagenix, and Nutrimetics.
We also have an additional 40 ‘Supplier’ members, who provide support services and partner with our DSO’s.
We are looking for a Business Growth Manager to join our small team based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
Your Role
You will be responsible for expanding our member base as well as maintaining strong relationships with our existing Members via events, social media, and face to face comms.
Working closely with and reporting to the CEO you will create and implement a strategy to identify, engage with, and attract new Direct Selling Organisation Members, Supplier Members, and Sponsors. Given we are a small team there will be other promotional responsibilities required including organising events and interacting with our marketing suppliers to arrange comms and social media.
Your Experience and Skills
- You will be a dynamic, energic, and positive self-starter.
- Excellent oral and written communication. Microsoft Office proficiency.
- 5+ years’ experience in a sales and marketing or a similar Association role.
- Experience working in Direct Selling would be an advantage, either in a sales/marketing role, or as a former Distributor/Consultant in one of our member companies.
- Relationship building will be your specialty area.
- Creative mind open to new ideas and change.

We offer a flexible work-from-home policy after the initial probation period has concluded.
Our office is in Brookvale on the Northern Beaches, and you will spend approx. half your week working with the team face-to-face.
The role is flexible to suit the candidate and could be part or full time. I.e. We can adjust the salary package and number of workdays needed to suit the ideal candidate. (e.g., If you are in a full time position at present, but looking to work less days).
