We offer a hybrid working arrangement with some days in the office required. Choose to work full-time or part-time (3-4 days per week). You would be reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the Leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-function finance tasks including; bank and credit card reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Manage FX transactions and multi-currency reporting
- Monthly consolidated and divisional management reporting and cash flow forecasting
- Annual budget preparation and regular budget variance reporting
- Payroll and employee expense reimbursement for 25 to 30 staff members
- Contribute to process improvements in the finance area, including ongoing process improvement within the software suite – Xero, Scoro and Expensify
- Support internal project and account managers with project reporting
- Troubleshooting the job management software, Scoro
- Liaise with external accountants for BAS, FBT and company tax lodgements
- Other finance related tasks as requested by the General Manager and business owners
Skills and Experience
- A relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, commerce, financing or similar
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager in a similar role, preferably within the design or architecture industry
- Experience with Xero (or similar Accounting software) and Scoro (Job Management software) is preferred but not essential
- High competence in Excel and have a strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of Australian accounting and financial laws
- Knowledge of USA accounting laws would be advantageous
- Excellent communication & team skills
- Investigative mindset and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
