Full Job Description
This market leading infrastructure company are going through a sustained period of growth and transformation. They are looking for a 12-month paternity leave cover to manage a small team, drive the capital expenditure corporate plan and play a critical role with C-Suite stakeholders.
The key duties of the role will include:
- Run and coordinate the annual capital expenditure corporate plan – 5- and 30-year plans
- Manage month-end and accurate and timely monthly reporting for capex
- Assess project feasibility, evaluate investment opportunities, and mitigate financial risks
- Run review sessions with C-Suite and key business partners across the organisation
- Oversee the ongoing maintenance and support of capex-related financial systems and identify and implement system improvements
- Manage a small team
- Tertiary Qualified – Finance, Economics, Accounting
- CA/ CPA Qualified
- 5+ years’ experience in a Finance Manager role, or equivalent, with direct management experience.
- Experience in infrastructure or high capital spend environment highly desirable
- Strong communication and leadership skills to liaise with a range of stakeholders
- Can understand implications of projects and activities across multiple strategic lenses and objectives
