• Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day finance operations, leveraging XERO ledger to maintain accurate financial records and manage cash flow effectively. 
• Team Leadership: Directly manage a small finance team, providing guidance and fostering professional development. 
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop financial plans, forecasts, and budgets aligned with business goals and growth projections.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, manage audits, and prepare comprehensive financial reports for stakeholders, including board members and investors. 
• Risk Management: Implement and monitor financial controls to mitigate risks and safeguard company assets. 

• Qualifications: CPA/CA qualified with a strong preference for candidates from a Big 4 background in business services, private clients, or audit. 
• Experience: Proven track record in financial management within scaling tech businesses, with deep knowledge of financial controls, auditing, tax compliance, and reporting. 
• Skills: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights. Proficiency in XERO or similar accounting software is essential. 
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels, including board members and investors. 
• Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adept at prioritizing tasks and driving initiatives independently.
