AddressOur client, a Boutique Fund Administrator & Management Group with a focus on Real Estate, Infrastructure & PE are looking to recruit Fund Controller / Finance Manager. Based in their Sydney CBD office, we are looking for a suitably experienced Finance Manager to operate in partnership with the Leadership team & Senior Asset Managers.
You will report directly to the Executive and have responsibility for the review of all finance reporting and oversight of property and fund accounting requirements for clients. This is a newly created role within the organisation, offered on a temp to perm basis provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior management and join this established fund administrator, with deep rooted connections across the market.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Property, Infrastructure & PE Investment Trust accounting review;
- Financial analysis and reporting;
- Managing the annual budgeting process;
- Managing the monthly re-forecasting and reporting processes including variance analysis;
- Constructing financial models and tools for management decisions and controls;
- Assisting with financial modelling and analysis on property acquisitions;
- Liaise with external auditors and tax accountants with regard to the preparation of tax returns
Skills and experience
- Property and/or Infrastructure Trust accounting experience (essential);
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally CA / CPA qualified along with relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting;
- Strong experience in analysis and reporting;
- Working knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, legislation and management accounting techniques;
- Demonstrated high level of organisational skill and ability to work under pressure, to deadline;
- Previous property or infrastructure asset management and investment experience preferred.
