About the Opportunity
The Finance Manager SCDG role is a key role in the ASC Finance Team and is required to drive a performance-based culture to deliver high quality accounting services within the program. The SCDG program is a highly complex and fast-moving environment. It requires a good communicator with advanced interpersonal skills who can build and maintain strong working relationships within the team and the customer.
Responsibilities

• Program Reporting, Budgeting and Analysis
• Monthly Invoicing and Annual True-up
• Bidding and Pricing
• Management of labour rates and overheads
• Foreign Currency and Escalation
• Overall financial management of the SSTP contract
• Profit and Revenue Trading
• Supporting External and Customer Audits
• Supporting Quarterly EAC (forecast) reviews

The position requires the individual to operate with a reasonable degree of autonomy, and possess drive and self-motivation. The role requires a solid level of technical knowledge of project accounting as well as the ability to drive change within a large project.

• Demonstrated ability in financial planning and analysis
• Ability to understand, analyse and communicate the financial results of the business operations and financial consequences
• Ability to use and adapt written and verbal communication skills to suit a variety of different audiences
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Advanced interpersonal skills; build and maintain strong working relationships
• Good communicator with excellent time management skills
• Well-organised and effective under pressure
• Experience within the Defence Industry
• Pro-active approach to problem solving
• Well-organised and effective under pressure
• Knowledge of Earned Value Project Management Techniques
• Sound working knowledge of ERP

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
