About the Opportunity
The Finance Manager SCDG role is a key role in the ASC Finance Team and is required to drive a performance-based culture to deliver high quality accounting services within the program. The SCDG program is a highly complex and fast-moving environment. It requires a good communicator with advanced interpersonal skills who can build and maintain strong working relationships within the team and the customer.
Responsibilities
- Program Reporting, Budgeting and Analysis
- Monthly Invoicing and Annual True-up
- Bidding and Pricing
- Management of labour rates and overheads
- Foreign Currency and Escalation
- Overall financial management of the SSTP contract
- Profit and Revenue Trading
- Supporting External and Customer Audits
- Supporting Quarterly EAC (forecast) reviews
About you
- Demonstrated ability in financial planning and analysis
- Ability to understand, analyse and communicate the financial results of the business operations and financial consequences
- Ability to use and adapt written and verbal communication skills to suit a variety of different audiences
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Advanced interpersonal skills; build and maintain strong working relationships
- Good communicator with excellent time management skills
- Well-organised and effective under pressure
- Experience within the Defence Industry
- Pro-active approach to problem solving
- Well-organised and effective under pressure
- Knowledge of Earned Value Project Management Techniques
- Sound working knowledge of ERP
