Position Summary:
Reporting to and supporting the Managing Director, the Finance Manager ensures the financial integrity and compliance of all financial transactions.
Responsible for managing the financial reporting budgeting and forecasting.
Processing accounts payable and receivable records and end of month activities.
And are responsible for actively managing payroll accounts and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Processing accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Month end processes, including general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
- Weekly payroll processing, ensuring payroll transactions are processed accurately and on time and in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Single Touch Payroll
- Superannuation
- Preparation and timely lodgement of monthly PAYG Withholding, Quarterly BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax, PAYG Tax
- Asset Management recording
- Respond to and coordinate any requests for financial information
- Reception / Incoming Phone Calls / Greeting guests
Skills or Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Commerce or relevant discipline
- Up to date knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards
- Experience with financial accounting systems - Xero is essential
- Highly proficient MS Office and computer skills (particularly Excel)
