About the Role:
As a full-time Finance Officer, you will support the business across all finance functions and have a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency and high-quality output.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Accounts Receivable – Processing of accounts receivable documentation (i.e., invoices, credit notes, statements, account applications, reminders etc.). The finance team will maintain healthy debtor days and zero bad debts.
- Accounts Payable – Processing of accounts payable documentation (i.e., purchase orders, supplier bills, credit notes, account applications, statements etc.) and processing of payment runs.
- Cost Control – Analysis of budget vs. actuals; to assist in determining correct coding and unexpected expenses.
- Reconciliation – For various bank accounts.
- Reporting – Provide timely and accurate information to the Head of Finance on a weekly basis (e.g., payment forecasts, metric reporting and analysis).
About You:
- Demonstrated experience as a Finance Officer and/or Bookkeeper
- Bookkeeping qualifications (preferable)
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written
- Strong problem solving skills
- Experience with Exo software (preferable)
