Accounts Receivable Officer

Our Nationally renowned Healthcare client is seeking a strong an Accounts Receivable/ Collections officer to join their team in Belmont for a 3-6 month temp assignment based in Belmont.
Working hours: Full time hours
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3-6 months (potential for permanency)
Pay Rate: $42-45/ hour (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Debt recovery process and follow up
- Uploading invoices on external business portals
- Email queries
- Reconciling customers' accounts
- Limited phone work , inbound and outbound
- Contacting each client and providing them with overdue statements of money which is owed
- Entering and reviewing data into finance systems
- Reconciliations of vendor accounts
- Pulling statements and sending them across to clients
- Chase remittances and facilitate receipting
- Dealing with any pushback from clients/ account issues and escalating where necessary
Skills and Experience
- Ideally minimum 12 months in a similar role
- Very strong communication skills
- Basic understanding of customer-based accounting system.
- Excel .v look up (not essential)
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident, friendly phone manner
- Ability to work as part of a cooperative team & willing to help others
- Excellent data entry skills and intermediate experience with Excel
