About Good News Lutheran College
Good News Lutheran College is situated on 20 acres in Tarneit, approximately 30 kms from the Melbourne CBD and has landscaped gardens, recreational spaces surrounding classrooms and buildings. The College also has a gymnasium, chapel, and sports ovals, along with new and modern facilities for Technologies, Science and Arts.
Good News Lutheran College aims to provide an educational pathway for each student by focusing on strong Christian values. Staff members of Good News Lutheran College share a vision of working with parents to support their children as they grow and develop. While offering support, teachers encourage students to take responsibility for their own decisions and to form their own attitudes and opinions about life.
The College has grown significantly from a small group of 24 students who commenced in 1997, to its first Year 12s graduating at the end of 2016, and the 1000+ students on campus today.
About the Role
The Finance Officer will perform various accounting and finance functions to ensure the College’s financial and material resources are effectively managed, reconciled and accounted for in accordance with agreed business objectives, policies and in a manner that fulfils the requirements of the relevant legislation, regulations and standards and organizational requirements that govern the College’s operations. In addition, they will also be responsible for the end-to-end payroll function at the College.
