Located on the city fringe, our client is a long established and highly respected human services provider. They are currently seeking an experienced Finance professional to join their finance team and contribute to the financial management and administrative functions of the organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with month end accounting processes;
- Preparing quarterly BAS;
- Reviewing and authorising invoices and purchase orders;
- Assisting in the preparation of external surveys;
- Analysing/interpreting and reporting on financial data;
- Assisting with audit queries;
- Providing back up to various financial functions;
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
The successful candidate will ideally possess qualifications in accounting, commerce and/or business with previous experience in a similar hands-on finance and administration support role. Most importantly, you will be a supportive team contributor, demonstrate high attention to detail, a positive and proactive can-do attitude, excellent organisational skills and possess superior communication skills. Proficient computer skills in Outlook, Microsoft Office and Excel are a must.
