About the role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Officer - primarily be responsible for Accounts Payable with some Procurement experience, for their busy location in Townsville. This is a 6-month temp position. You support our client by providing professional support across various areas of the Company.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient and high standards of customer service to customers.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Office is required to an Intermediate to advanced level.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Discipline to keep strong time management & meet deadlines.
- Be customer service orientated.
- Accounts Payable and Credit Cards
Skills and Experience:
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Be well presented.
- Mature attitude to work within the team as a team player.
- Positive attitude and have great time management skills.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Finance related position.
Qualifications:
- Qualifications and/or experience
- Understanding of, or the ability to quickly acquire, the legislative and legal framework of Commonwealth Government finance and procurement processes.
A high level of interpersonal communication skills and a commitment to confidentiality is essential to succeed in these positions.
