Community and Oral Health is looking for a Senior Client Service Officer to join their Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme (MASS) team. This team provides funding for assistive technology to eligible Queensland residents who have a permanent and stabilised condition or disability. The scheme assists people to live at home and avoid early or inappropriate residential care or hospitalisation. As well as undertake the activities associated with ensuring clients receive their aids and equipment in a timely manner through the MASS subsidy funding model.The position is also responsible for setting work priorities and monitoring workflow within the defined service area.
- Communicate, liaise and network with MASS personnel, government and non-government agency personnel.
- Maintain manual and computerised information systems and databases, including the ability to abstract, interpret and disseminate statistical data for the team.
- Undertake delegated procurement activities and manage the outstanding tax invoices and acquittal processes.
- Initiate and participate in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of personnel training and education.
