AddressBundaberg Sugar Ltd is seeking to appoint a Finance Officer on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Cane Pay & Accounts Payable Supervisor, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to participate in a diverse range of work including accounts payable tasks and various administrative functions as part of a dynamic team.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The role will involve administration, finance and accounting tasks across Accounts Payable and Cane Pay functions.
Some responsibilities of the role will include:
- Working within various accounting systems including Syspro and Oracle
- Working within IMS (Oracle based) to record Cane Pays
- Accurate interpretation and processing of data
- Liaising with suppliers and department managers in relation to invoices
- Maintenance and filing of computerised records
- General administration duties within the Business Services sector
PREFERRED SKILLS
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and proactive person who is a Team player and will fit in with our friendly department culture. The successful applicant will have an eye for detail who is keen to learn and possesses the following;
- Basic Knowledge of accounting fundamentals
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to challenges
- Analytical mindset with good problem solving skills
- Ability to plan, organise and work to deadlines
- Ability to work independently and have good interpersonal skills
- Interested in working in a finance and accounting environment
Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat DC and the other programs mentioned above would be advantageous. Ongoing on the job training is a feature of this role.
