About the PositionThis position of Finance Officer will suit someone with excellent customer service skills and a background in transactional accounting and accounts support. This is a stand alone position and will work alongside the wider finance team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for a range of duties assisting the finance team.
Specific responsibilities include:• Ownership of Accounts Receivable of Australian W/S Domestic and International Debtors and International Distributors
• Collection and reconciliation of International Subsidiaries
• Pro-active debt collection
• Ensuring customer Masterfile is up to date
•Assess customer credit limits and suggest an appropriate credit limit while managing credit risk
• Preparation and communication of monthly customer account statements
• Assist with revenue and receivables month-end process
• Calculation of external agent commissions
About YouSuitable candidates will have a combination of the following experience and skills:
- Strong exposure to debt collection
- Ability to work with a large range of stakeholders
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Microsoft Excel specifically in both Pivot Tables & V look ups
- A high level of accuracy and organisation
- Experience working within the fashion retail industry or a fast paced business would be highly advantageous
