To be successful in this role you will have:
- A passion for ecological restoration and the environment
- A high level of physical fitness
- A commitment to safe work practices and a willingness to promote Ecosure’s safety culture.
- Strong SEQ plant identification skills – native and exotic across a range of ecosystems.
- Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Experience applying a range of different ecological restoration approaches.
- Experience in revegetation practices.
Overall, the following skills and attributes would be highly regarded:
- A Certificate in Conservation and Land Management (Natural Area Restoration) or equivalent (e.g. Bachelor’s Degree)
- Chemcert or ACDC certification
- Manual Drivers Licence + 4WD
- First Aid/CPR
- Chainsaw ticket
