Bloom (a recruitment company) is exclusively recruiting this newly created position for a Client of ours, that operates in the facilities and trades sectors.
A medium enterprise, they been in operation for over 5 years, have a national presence and continue to grow, exponentially. Partially franchised, this business brings a dynamic approach to its industry, which has see it carve a brand new niche, setting them heads above their competitors.
About the Role:
As Finance Officer, you will work alongside and report into the Finance Manager, with a dotted line to the CEO.
You will be responsible for a broad range of transactional finance functions including (but not limited to) reconciliations, inter-company transactions, accounts payable and receivable, assisting with payroll, PAYG, BAS, month end reporting and month end close, across several entities within the organisation.
This role is permanent, full time and is based in West Leederville.
About You:
You will have 3-5 years experience as a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer, Bookkeeper or potentially be an Assistant Accountant, early in your career.
Ideally, you will have strong experience working in small to medium enterprise environments and be familiar with working with high volume transactions.
You'll be well versed in a broad range of finance functions, with previous experience in MYOB, Xero or similar.
A strong capability in Excel would also be advantageous.
This role will require you to have many touch points with internal and external stakeholders, so your ability to build rapport and strong communication skills will be pivotal to your success in this role.
You'll have a proven ability to pick new things up quickly, be high on agency and resourceful when needed.
