Step into the role of Finance Officer and play a vital role in our organisation's financial operations, managing accounts payable, processing invoices efficiently, and fostering vendor relationships.
Fulltime Fixed term 12 Month Position - with possibility to extend based at our Coolbinia Head Office.
In this role, you will:
- Manage vendor/supplier data, credit applications, and credit terms
- Validate and process invoices, administer payments efficiently, follow up on overdue invoices and ensure compliance with policies
- Reconcile vendor statements, direct debits, corporate credit card transactions and control accounts
- Meet deadlines for payments, month-end, and year-end tasks to maintain financial efficiency
- Maintain accurate financial records and adhere to quarterly archiving procedures
- Validate, process invoices/adjustment notes, ensuring tax compliance
- Reconcile bank accounts with general ledger, using accounting system's module
- Ensure tax compliance: ABN, GST, Statement by Supplier checks

About You
What we’ll need to help kick-start your journey with us:
- Progressing towards suitable qualifications in accounting or related field.
- Ability to prioritise and work efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer focus with a good general understanding of Fair Work, relevant legislation and Enterprise Agreements
- National Police Clearance no older than 6 months, Current Driver’s Licence, NDIS Workers Orientation Module, NDIS Worker Screening check and COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
