Finance Officer

Callcorr is a locally owned Company in Mackay providing a broad range of heavy equipment maintenance and services to the Mining, Civil and Agricultural industries. 

Due to the increasing demand for Callcorr’s Services, the office headquarters are seeking an experienced and dedicated Finance Officer to join the team. Reporting to the Directors & Office Manager, the Finance Officer will be responsible for the management of all financial reporting, company finances & providing administrative support to the team.

The ideal candidate will preferably have MYOB EXO knowledge; however this is not essential. Callcorr is a close and experienced team, the right person will have a positive and supportive influence in the work environment with the right level of drive and initiative to grow and develop their role. 

The Role: 

• Management and overseeing of all accounting procedures for financial obligations
• Assisting the management team with business planning & strategies
• Insurance & Asset Management  
• Accounts Payable, Receivable & other business transactions
• End of month reconciliations internally, financial reconciliations for BAS, PAYG, subsequent end of month close out activities & reporting. 
• Cash flow Management / projections 
• Payroll assistance for Management & Employees
• Administrative support to the Callcorr & Callcorr Equipment Hire divisions 
• Document Management & Reporting

Experience:

• Seeking an individual with solid experience in accounting & business finance
• Financial or commercial background desirable
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge in accounts payable and accounts receivable essential
• Demonstrated sound knowledge in Payroll processes
• Have a sound knowledge with BAS, PAYG and Superannuation 
• Demonstrated knowledge completing company financial reconciliations and subsequent end of month close out activities and providing detailed end of month management reports
• Responsible for all financial reporting at management level
• High computer literacy skills with proficiency in MS Office suite 
• Experience with EXO Programme will be highly regarded
