Role Description/Criteria
Applications are invited for the Education Support Employee (ESE) position:
* FINANCE OFFICER - Payroll and Accounts Payable
This is a full-time ongoing role commencing Monday 15 July 2024.
The full terms and conditions are in accordance with the CEMEA (2022):
ESE Category A. Level 2 or 3 dependent on experience/qualifications.
The Payroll and Accounts Payable Officer works together with relevant members of the Finance Department to develop, implement, evaluate and manage appropriate daily routines for the Accounts Payable and payroll processes ensuring effective accounting processes are maintained in accordance with appropriate standards. The successful applicant will be expected to support and uphold the Strategic Direction of the College. They will be supported by the leadership structures within the College, as well as an effective Professional Learning program.
Special Requirements:
- Experience with end-to-end fortnightly payroll preparation in accordance with industrial awards and agreements, instruction and best practice.
- Experience with payroll systems, implementation and automation.
- Experience with Accounts payable function.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office software.
- Previous experience with Synergetic School Management System and Alii is desirable
