Finance Systems Accountant

The main focus of this role is to support the Financial Controller and IT Manager with the upgrade of the ERP system next year.

The main focus of this role is to support the Financial Controller and IT Manager with the upgrade of the ERP system next year and ongoing technical system developments across the finance function.

The Role

Responsibilities will include:

• Training and support the business in the use of operational systems and procedures
• Troubleshooting and working with software vendors to resolve transactional related system issues
• Ensuring data integrity and accuracy
• Assist and support the preparation of the monthly accounts and reports
• Preparing ad-hoc management reports
• Designing and implementing internal system controls (preventative and detective) to provide quality assurance over Company data
• Collaborating with IT and Operational staff to meet business requirements and objectives
• Working with the business to specify, design and automate functional process
• Working with business intelligence software to prepare and automate reporting
• Finance representative for UAT of IT systems changes, modifications, and upgrades
• Other tasks and activities as directed by the Financial Controller

Candidate Profile

• Degree qualified in an accounting-related degree
• Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
• Strong relevant IT and ERP system skills
