About the role As a Finance System Analyst you will ensure the successful implementation of the UpLift Finance project by applying best practices across systems, processes, and data to meet AEMO Group's financial objectives and reporting requirements. Reporting to the Finance Business Lead, the Finance System Analyst will act as the key link between business subject matter experts (SME’s), the functional and technical resources, ensuring that business requirements are accurately reflected in the design and solution.
This role is a full-time 10 months contract.
What you will be doing
- Document and finalize business requirements as user stories and end-to-end business processes.
- Oversee completion of the configuration workbooks provided by the implementation partner.
- Drive functional integration activities, including mapping sources to targets and identifying business processes.
- Contribute to data migration activities, including field mapping, data augmentation, and quality analysis.
- Provide input into testing activities, including development of acceptance criteria, test cases and scenarios, and participating in SIT and UAT
- Understand cross-module and cross-functional impacts and dependencies, across configuration, customisations, data, processes and reporting.
What you will bring to the role
- PA/CA qualified accountant with proven experience in system accounting, security, data and finance process implementation.
- Solid understanding of current accounting standards and practices.
- Exhibit strong personal leadership, responding positively to management requests, and effectively managing tasks independently to meet deadlines.
- Ability to cultivate and manage cross-functional relationships, collaborating effectively to resolve intricate issues.
