The finance team of a large government organisation requires an experienced Financial Accountant for a 3 month contract. Focused on Fixed Assets and general financial accounting.
Your new role
Key duties include:
Preparation of financial and statutory reports related to fixed assets
General ledger reconciliations and journal entries
Depreciation, disposals and capital expenditure updates
Valuation analysis and reconciliations
Balance Sheet reconciliations and identify any discrepancies
Review processes and procedures to improve internal reporting and control
Work closely with internal stakeholders across major assets and systems maintenance
Monthly financial reports and analysis
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience within government organisations
Strong allround financial accounting skills
Fixed assets accounting experience
Technology One or large ERP systems knowledge
Strong Excel
Qualifications in finance
