In this role, you will play a crucial part in integrating a newly acquired interstate company into the Brisbane operations. You will be the focal point for this acquisition, gaining excellent exposure across the business.
Reporting to an experienced Finance Manager who prioritizes her team and has built a highly collaborative, developmental culture, you will work closely with her. She will help you settle into the role, provide guidance, and support your career development.
Additionally, you will flex your business partnering skills, building relationships with the finance team in Queensland and interstate, the National Finance Manager, and various General Managers and Operations Managers.
Joining a 12-person finance team in Brisbane, you will be part of a $2 billion group.
In this position, you will liaise with stakeholders to integrate the new acquisition into Brisbane. Hands-on, you will own month-end accuracy of the P&L, provide data analysis, manage FBT, BAS, and the budget process, and partner with operations and commercial colleagues on financial needs.
This role will provide excellent exposure to a listed company and be instrumental in integrating an acquired business.
Either a qualified accountant or well on your way to your CA/CPA with a relevant degree, you have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role. Proficient in Excel and systems, you are ready to join a culture-focused company.
