About You:

We are seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy individual with a solid background in general accounting to join All G Foods as a part-time Financial Accountant. If you possess strong skills across the MS Office Suites, including proficiency in Dynamics 365, and have exceptional client relationship and communication skills, we invite you to be a part of our innovative team.

In This Role, You Will:

Manage the entire finance process, monthly journals, and reporting

• Oversee and execute end-to-end financial processes.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in monthly journal entries and financial reporting.

Handle general accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable duties:

• Streamline accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Implement efficient and accurate financial transaction processes.

Conduct balance sheet reconciliations:

• Execute thorough and precise balance sheet reconciliations.
• Identify and address discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy.

Undertake external reporting as required (statutory and tax):

• Prepare and submit comprehensive statutory and tax reports.
• Ensure compliance with external reporting regulations and standards.

Lead cash flow forecasting and management:

• Develop and implement effective cash flow forecasting strategies.

Provide support for audit and tax inquiries:

• Collaborate with auditors and tax authorities, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
• Respond promptly and accurately to audit and tax-related queries.

Assist the COO with budgeting and forecasting:

• Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Contribute insights and analysis to support strategic financial planning.

Drive process and system improvements:

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements.
• Implement improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Support commercial business partnering across retail and food service:

• Collaborate with teams to understand financial needs and provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Essential Skills and Education:

• 2-3 years of prior experience in an accountant role.
• Tertiary qualification in accounting, business, or commerce.
• CA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Quick adaptability to new technology.
• Hands-on approach, capable of working autonomously and as part of a team.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent knowledge and use of MS Office suites (Preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365).
