As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial accounting functions and supporting the Council in achieving its financial goals.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
As a Financial Accountant, you will oversee various financial accounting tasks, including asset accounting, treasury management, taxation, and compliance with accounting standards and legislative requirements. You will provide valuable insights to internal and external stakeholders, supervise our investment portfolio, and ensure the efficient management of Council's loans and leases.
We Are Looking for Candidates Who Have:
If you have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, we want to hear from you. Experience in financial reporting, treasury management, and stakeholder engagement will be highly regarded.
