Financial Accountant

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in the retail division, which is part of our global finance team. 

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in preparation of management, board and external reporting for Apollo RV Sales.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial reports and liaise with external auditors during the audit process.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analyse variances to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and providing insights to management.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting processes.
• Ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management.
• Oversee the Accounts payable team and make improvements to processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CA qualification or working towards preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably within a publicly listed company or a Big Four/medium tier accounting firm.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience in using multiple accounting software
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement.
