We are currently recruiting for a full time Financial Accountant to work in our Finance team in Riverwood - South West Sydney.
This is a broad Financial Accounting role that will suit a candidate who enjoys learning and understanding how a business works from the ‘big picture’ down to the financial detail.
You will be undertaking the following duties:
- Preparation of accurate and timely month end to draft board pack for CFO review (including reports / analysis & commentary)
- Becoming a key finance contact for AMG stakeholders across all departments, providing commercial support, analysis, and challenge where appropriate
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Liaison with, and administration of various group subsidiaries
- Yearend process and auditor liaison as required
- Assist in management and administration of bank finance, FX and hedging activity
- Administer FBT, GST and prepare BAS returns
- Preparation of analysis and insight as required
- Working with the CFO on relevant projects
You will have the following skills and experience:
- CA/CPA Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ post qualification experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage priorities in a deadline driven environment
- Prior experience with Business Central (Microsoft Dynamics NAV) and Jet Reports or similar (highly regarded)
- Demonstrated ability in to add commercial value to the wider business.
