Form of workThe Company We are currently working with a rapidly growing non-bank lender and is seeking a Financial Accountant to join the team. The Role This role will be hands-on and will give you the opportunity to be involved in supporting the wider team with process improvements and change management. The role will have a mix of financial and management reporting, business improvements, and adhoc tasks. The responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Ownership of month end close including journal preparation, balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement preparation. - Reporting including commentary and variance analysis. - Support of financial processes including invoicing/statement generation. - Ensure deadlines for monthly board reporting are met for the group. - Preparation of annual statutory accounts. - Liaise with external auditors. - Streamline financial processes to bring in reporting timelines. Your Skills & Experience - Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field. - CPA or CA qualified or working towards your qualification. ASX listed experience will be held with high regard. - At least 5 years' experience in accounting/analytical experience. - Group consolidations experience is required. - Ability to communicate complex financial information to the broad audience. - Strong presentation and storyboarding skills Apply today!
