About the role
Assist the Senior Financial Accountant with West Moreton Health's month end accounting process within specified deadlines including the preparation of month end balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that discrepancies are investigated on a timely basis and preparing month end journals together with input files as directed.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated ability to investigate and provide practical recommendations in relation to financial accounting and administration matters which enhance the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of financial management and administration and contribute to enhanced financial outcomes
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate and interact with staff at all levels and external stakeholders.Ability to work as part of team and under pressure to meet prescribed deadlines.
- Commitment to undertake responsibilities in accordance with West Moreton Health's core values of connect, respect, excel.
- Membership (or working towards) to Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) / Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) would be highly desirable but not required.
