The Opportunity.
Are you a detail-orientated and motivated Financial Accountant with a passion for maintaining financial integrity? Join our dynamic team at JBT, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and supporting strategic growth initiatives.
What you will be doing.
- Responsible for timely closing of monthly/yearly financial accounts.
- Perform month end and year end closing procedures including GL adjustments / reclassifications / accruals.
- Assist in ensuring that statutory accounts are submitted on an accurate and timely basis.
- Prepare GST reports, tax computations.
- Processing journal entries and ensure all data are accurate and complete.
- Review monthly intercompany reconciliation and ensure all intercompany transactions are tallied.
- Ensure financial statements are fairly represented.
- Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare Revenue Recognition Reports
- Assets accounting (including additions, disposals, transfer, and project closure).
- Assist in preparation of audit schedules.
- Assist in preparation of SG&A budget and forecast.
- Prepare financial reports to different business stakeholders.
- Support the team in delivery of ad-hoc projects.
Qualifications, Skills and Experiences.
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
- CPA/CA highly desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience is required - managing full-sets of accounts and strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles.
- Experience Pronto (ERP) will be advantageous.
- Strong MS Excel
- Possess strong Analytical, Communication and Interpersonal skills.
- Both a proactive team-player and as an independent individual.
