About the Role
As our Financial Accountant, you'll play a vital role in driving our international expansion strategy and maintaining financial stability. Reporting to our Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of:
- Precision and Planning: Maintain accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Analysis and Insights: Prepare balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and identify commercial opportunities to fuel strategic decision-making.
- Compliance and Control: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, implement internal control processes, lead external audits and act as the liaison with financial stakeholders.
- Beyond the Books: Manage AP, AR, invoicing, reconciliations, inventory management, and contribute to margin optimization.
- Collaborative Leadership: Oversee and support our external bookkeepers, contributing a financial perspective to cross-team projects.
- 4-6+ years of experience as a Financial Accountant, ideally with demonstrable success in a fast-growing organization.
- Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS, and proficient with accounting software and financial modeling tools.
- Passion for detail, a knack for analyzing data, and talent for translating numbers into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you're both an independent worker and a team player.
- Experience working with the North American market is highly advantageous.
