We are looking for a passionate and engaging Team Leader - Client Services to join our team!
This is a great opportunity for you as an experienced Team Leader, with Occupational Therapy qualifications or similar, to take the next step in your career.
We are a growing Aged Care, Home Care Package provider, located in Hindmarsh SA. We have a multidisciplinary team consisting of OT, Physio, Nursing, Client Services Coordinators and Home Support Workers, who deliver services to older people, supporting them to remain independent for as long as possible.

The Opportunity:
- Undertake a balanced clinical and leadership role with a tailored caseload;
- Provide evidence-based assessment and therapy to clients, providing direct and indirect intervention, liaising with families, professionals and support staff;
- Use your experience to develop and grow our multidisciplinary team to work together to deliver quality, evidence-based outcomes;
- Lead through supervision and professional development opportunities, assisting staff with time management and organisation, skill development and collaboration with key industry stakeholders;
- Engage in service development, education and training and contribute to the strategic development of home care package services.
Our successful applicant will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and full, current AHPRA registration
- Experience as a leader in developing, coaching and mentoring a range of staff and/or students
- A desire to work in a multidisciplinary environment
- Experience and passion for working with older people and confidence in working with families and other stakeholders
- High level interpersonal, computer and documentation skills
- A well-developed understanding of the Aged Care Standards and an interest in the Aged Care Reforms
- An understanding of Home Care Packages and centre-based respite
- An interest in supporting clients with Dementia (advantageous)
- An interest in falls prevention (advantageous)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sound awareness of the reablement model
- A commitment to continuous improvement and ongoing learning and development.
Essential:
- A current National Police Clearance and DHS Aged Sector Employment Check
- A current driver's licence & own vehicle
- Current General AHPRA registration
- Full COVID-19 vaccination (minimum 3 doses)
- A current First Aid Certificate
