Why Your Role Matters:
We’re seeking finance professionals to support the ongoing demand for this important skillset at UNSW, opportunities are set to start throughout 2024.
As Finance Analyst you’ll be delivering financial management activities including financial planning, analysis, forecasting and reporting across multiple funding sources. We’re looking for a confident performer to work across complex data sets for analysis, modelling, and reporting purposes to enable sound financial decisions.
This role sits within the Finance Business Partnering team, which provides end-to-end finance services to our Faculties and Divisions, a central and trusted source for financial guidance and services at UNSW. The position reports to the Finance Manager for the client group and has no direct reports.
Who You Are: You’ll hold existing professional sector experience coupled with relevant qualifications (CA or CPA qualification or equivalent) alongside:
- Demonstrated experience in core financial management and financial control processes, financial analysis.
- Sound working knowledge of analytical tools.
- A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and its application in financial modelling and analysis as well as computer applications, enterprise systems, and the delivery of reports and presentations.
- Exceptional analytical skill with adaptability to competing priorities and experience managing complex data sets.
- Highly developed time management and organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail.
