A global organisation with its APAC H/O in Adelaide is seeking to appoint a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to contribute to the monthly and quarterly analysis of financials and budgets, present insights to drive strategic decision-making and assist in a range of projects, including supporting the implementation and testing of global reporting software.
Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller APAC, this role will work with stakeholders both globally and locally. Responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the preparation of APAC financial and budget reporting across all countries
- Assist in the preparation of Global variance analysis
- Participate in Global Strategy Plan and Budget Plan meetings
- Prepare weekly orders, sales by product and equipment
- Update and correct Australian financial information
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with key stakeholders
- Assisting and testing the implementation of a global reporting software
- Assisting in the Globel upgrade of 365
- Provide support to inventory projects
You will ideally have qualifications in accounting or finance, strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros, and the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights. You may have previous experience as a Financial Analyst or Management Accountant
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- PowerBi reporting experience (desirable)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365
