The role
Reporting to the CEO you will drive efficiencies and streamline processes to deliver a highly effective finance function. With a broad remit you will prepare financial reports, monitor cash flow, pricing analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and assist with inventory management. This is an immersive finance role leading a small team whilst upholding strong financial standards.
Daily responsibilities will see you:
- Direct the cash management and treasury functions of our business
- Consult externally with our accountants, insurance brokers and other stakeholders
- Develop and drive OPEX and CAPEX management
- Ensure achievement of compliance, statutory accounting and tax reporting requirements
- Oversee invoicing and payroll, plus produce monthly management accounts and reconcile full balance sheets
What you will bring to the role:
You are at a career point where you are keen to apply well developed financial management skills while having an appetite to further grow and learn. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Minimum 5 years commercial accounting experience, CA or CPA qualified
- Interest and experience in ERP, accounting software and systems improvement
- Strategic, analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Prior experience in manufacturing or production will be highly advantageous
- Leadership capability and the ability to influence change
