SalaryJob Title: Financial Data Analyst - Energy Management Sector (6-Month Contract)
Join a dynamic and growing market leader in the energy management sector! We're seeking a skilled Financial Data Analyst to join our team on a day-rate contract for six months, with a competitive salary between $110,000 and $130,000 + Superannuation.
Location: Macquarie Park with a Hybrid Working Model (2 days on-site, 3 days remote)
Key Responsibilities:
- Build creative and informative dashboards using Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx.
- Contribute actively to project plans and own report build, implementation, and quality control tasks for migration processes within project timelines.
- Audit and convert existing reports to Unify.
- Consult with clients to create custom reports.
- Develop best practices, standards, and procedures for migrating clients, maintaining relevant documentation.
- Coach, train, and collaborate with internal and external teams during the report migration process.
- Brief offshore report development teams on client reporting needs.
- Troubleshoot during Unify migration, go-live, and 3-month post go-live until Temple is decommissioned.
- Provide support and consultation post go-live and during BAU for queries and issues.
- Previous experience in report building and visualization, preferably in a client-facing environment.
- Advanced skills in MS Office (specifically Excel, Power BI), with knowledge of Alteryx preferred.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent time management skills.
- Client-focused approach with effective problem-solving abilities within a large corporation.
- Strong analytical and excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with an emphasis on managing task completion by non-direct reports.
- Preferable background from a Big 4 accounting firm.
