To continue our growth and success, we are seeking a full-time Financial Manager. As a Financial Manager you will have a key responsibility for overseeing and managing the financial health and well-being of the company. You will play a critical role in shaping financial strategies, ensuring financial stability, and contributing to the overall success of the company.
Your responsibilities may include, but is not limited to:
- Accounts payable/receivable
- Payroll
- Debtor control
- Financial reporting
- Prepare and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and financial models.
- Analyse financial data, performance metrics, and financial statements to provide insights for decision-making.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, variances, and key performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management.
- Develop strategies to improve cash flow and funding sources.
- Develop, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to finance staff to ensure a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
You will be expected to have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience post qualification.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial management best practices.
- Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of accounting software, hardware, and applications.
