The work area
This role sits within the Financial Policy and Operations Directorate, to provide advice in relation to the development, review, interpretation and application of the State’s financial management and accountability framework which includes the Financial Management Act 2006.
The opportunity
Are you passionate about accounting and Financial Policy? We are looking for people with initiative to join us and make a difference for Western Australia.
In this role, you will:
- Develop, review, and interpret accounting policies and guidelines to help improve financial management capability across the public sector.
- Provide quality advice to a range of stakeholders, ensuring to deliver a clear and concise message on accounting and financial policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with arrange of stakeholders across the public sector.
