First Aid Trainer

Your First Aid Team is a leading training provider committed to providing high-quality First Aid training. Our aim is to empower individuals and organisations with the skills and knowledge to save lives and ensure workplace safety.

We use real world, hands on experience to impart practical skills to everyday emergencies and First Aid incidents. Every session is interactive, informative and fun.

Due to ongoing growth in our clients, we are searching for First Aid Trainers with a background in health and education. You could be currently working as a Nurse or similar and seeking a new career direction. No previous First Aid training experience is necessary. 

You have the option to maintain shifts as a nurse whilst shadowing a trainer and then running your own First Aid sessions when confident.

You will be supported be an experienced trainer to gain skills and qualifications. Our goal is to find the right person and fully recognise that skills can be gained over time. 

The role

• Conducting First Aid training sessions e.g. corporate clients, schools and sporting clubs
• Ensure compliance with current guidelines and RTO best practice
• Demonstrating and instructing on a wide range of First Aid techniques, including CPR, wound care and emergency response
• Evaluating and certifying participants' proficiency in First Aid skills
• Providing feedback and guidance to improve participants' abilities
• Managing training equipment and supplies

Must haves

• Working knowledge in a health-related field
• Excellent communication and able to present effectively to groups
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles
• Passion for health and safety education
• Your own reliable vehicle and drivers license

Ideal but not essential (we can assist you to obtain)

• Experience in delivering training and assessment - specifically HLTAID009 to HLTAID012
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 
• Current CPR and First Aid Certificates
• Current National Police Check 
• Current Working with Children Check

Most of our clients are based from the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne to the CBD with some regional travel. Training is delivered at their sites.
