AITS is seeking to add to our team of experienced and dynamic employees on either a full-time, part-time or casual basis.
We are looking for motivated and passionate individuals with a great understanding of First Aid to join our Registered Training Organisation, Australian Institute of Training Solutions (AITS), and deliver First Aid training at our training facility located in Victoria Park.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about CPR and First Aid and delivering this in a practical and approachable environment.
As a First Aid Trainer you will be required to deliver face-to-face training sessions for small groups at a time.
This is a great opportunity for experienced trainers with a background in the health, disability care services or security sectors, and wanting to apply their relevant knowledge and skills in delivering this critical training, offering nationally accredited First Aid courses.
The right candidate will have a positive and motivated attitude, with a passion for adult learning and First Aid, and have regular availability from Monday to Sunday.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate engaging and practical-focussed training for public and private groups in First Aid
- Lead group training classes face-to-face sharing your skills and expertise
- Occasionally travelling to different locations and facilities within metropolitan suburbs and sometimes to regional / rural locations.
- Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Sound level of First Aid, CPR, and other emergency care knowledge
- Self- motivated and the ability to work with limited supervision
- Working knowledge of general RTO operating requirements (desirable)
- Experience in dealing with people from diverse backgrounds and life experience.
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office program skills
- Experience delivering nationally recognised training, ideally in a similar field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in conducting First Aid training is desired
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Actively participate in feedback collection and contribute to continuous improvement
- Experience in delivering training and assessment
- First aid knowledge and demonstrated experience in presenting, training and facilitating

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate (or willing to update).
