We now have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and dedicated Trainer and Assessor to join our super star RTO team in Bunbury. This role will be focused on delivering a range of First Aid and Health Short Courses, including Medication Support, Seizure Management, and Manual Handling, among others. You will conduct these courses in a face-to-face setting, following the session plan and assessing students work. Additionally, the role involves providing student support and ensuring all training and assessment documentation aligns with company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver structured, flexible, relevant and interesting training sessions and assist all learners regardless of level to achieve their training goals.
- Prepare for, conduct and document training delivery and assessments.
- Complete all training and assessment documentation in line with company policies.
- Monitor and manage student progression ensuring course completion in required timeframe.
- Undertake regular professional development to ensure current industry skills are maintained.
- Participate in validation sessions as required.
- Assist as necessary with the promotion of ATC Work Smart at Career Expo’s and events.
About you
- Must hold the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid.
- At least 5 years current industry experience.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written, oral, and digital literacy skills.
- Work within the requirements set out within company’s training and assessment strategies.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
- A current ‘C’ class motor vehicle drivers licence.
Highly desirable
- CHC33021 Certificate in Individual Support or equivalent
- Medical or health experience
