What you will be doing
As a qualified Fitter & Turner, you will be responsible for the operations of various machines such as CNC, Hydraulic Press and Manual Lathes and Mills, producing a wide range of parts for Marine Vessels along with other industries. You will also be responsible for general maintenance, welding and fabrication along with the opportunity to perform field service work in boat yards and manufacturing facilities.
What you will need
Fitter & Turner Trade Qualification
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
Must be competent reading and drafting plans
Manual CNC Lathe and Mill experience
Experienced with CAD/CAM is highly desirable
Forklift Licence or willing to obtain
White Card
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police clearance
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
High regard for team work and safety in the workplace
