Lift Industries is a Currumbin based engineering business servicing Australia and New Zealand.
We specialise in the supply of truck bodies, elevated work platforms (EWP’s), craner borer's and a number of related engineering, service, repair, and auto electrical services. Lift Industries is certified to ISO9001:2015 and operates in accordance with ISO4801:2001.
Position
We have vacancy for a highly motivated Fitter/Fabricator. It is essential that you are well organised and have a high level of initiative. This position is on a full-time employment basis subject to satisfactory completion of a three month probationary period.
Requirements
- Trade qualification in Fitter or Truck Body building/Metal fabrication
- Excellent communication skills and ability to converse on all levels
- 4+ years experience
- Have an eye for detail
- Ability to interpret workshop drawings
- Strong organisational skills and problem solving ability
- Meet deadlines and forward planning skills
- Maintain a safe workplace in accordance with OH&S requirements
- Forklift licence
- Previous experience in a heavy machinery workshop an advantage
