We are currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our Team at our Piangil Orchard. Piangil is planted to approximately 1566 ha of almonds and located near Swan Hill in Victoria.
About the role:
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated Leader with excellent communication skills who is committed to developing a team. You will provide high level maintenance support to the Farm and ensure workshops are maintained and in a safe working condition. You will play an important role in building your team and training staff on new quality control systems to ensure that all services and repairs are following service checklists with reference to manuals, Australian Standards, Regulations and Company procedures.
To be successful you will have:
- Current driver's license.
- Experience with agricultural and/or horticultural machinery and maintenance procedures.
- General experience in engineering, welding, spray painting and mechanical skills.
- Experience in irrigation and Fertigation systems.
- Experience in the day-to-day maintenance and running of bore and river pumps.
- Experience in effective, safe spray applications.
- Experience in purchasing procedures, in sourcing equipment spare parts and quotes
