A well known, global Manufacturing company located in Moorebank is looking for a motivated Fixed Asset Accountant to join their team.
Your new role:
Manage the International Finance payment process, including Liability Reconciliation and processing of GL Journals
Reconciliation and analysis of Fixed Asset General Ledger accounts, including Fixed Asset related clearing accounts
Manage Capitalisation of Other Fixed Assets Process, including but not limited to the raising and receipting of PO’s, processing invoices through the Digital Finance Dashboard, Asset Activation and WIP (project) Asset management.
Manage the Capitalisation of Additions to the Rental Fleet process.
Review, approve and process asset uploads for Financed and Rental to Owned Units
Conduct quarterly Rental Revenue/Cost analysis
Conduct regular and timely analysis of the Fixed Asset register, including but not limited to depreciation useful life reviews
Manage the annual Fixed Asset Stocktake process for both Rental and Other Assets
Maintain comprehensive work instructions, including both recordings and supporting written documents where required
Assist the Accounting Manager in the maintenance of Skytrust National Documents
Regularly advise of system improvement opportunities to the Finance team where appropriate
Assist with audit enquiries and collate audit samples
What you’ll need to succeed:
Relevant Accounting Qualification
Minimum 5 years experience in similar role
Recent experience with medium to large ERP system
Demonstrate intermediate to advance Excel skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong Reconciliation skills
Problem-solving skills
