We build and supply premium refrigerated transport solutions to the food services industry, we are actively seeking to be part of the solution to eliminate food waste across Australia
Currently our factory and corporate head office are located in Wynnum, however 2024 holds an exciting change as we move into a bigger and better, purpose built premises, located in Berrinba (Logan).
About the role
As Fleet Accountant you will report to the Financial Controller and support the wider management team with End-to-End accounting for our Fleet Business & Corporate Accounts - an integral role that will own accurate financial record keeping for our growing fleet of refrigerated trucks and corporate expenditure. You will assist with internal processes to ensure revenue and costs are accurate. You will be working within a collaborative team, where your opinions and feedback are expected.
The role includes the following day to day tasks, but not limited to:
Accounts Receivable:
- Internal fleet invoicing
- On-charging
Accounts Payable:
- Sending Pos
- Entering creditor invoices
- Credit applications – prep for review
- Setting up new creditor accounts
- Scheduling invoices for payment
- Supplier account enquiries & statement reconciliation
Finance:
- Bank / Credit Card Rec
- P&L Reconciliations
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- EOM Reporting
- Other Intercompany invoicing
- Intercompany loan accounts
- Assist with Asset Register
Fleet Financing:
- Collating details ready for financing
- Adding and managing Fleet in AccountKit (Asset Finance Software)
- Reconciling monthly repayments
- Monthly Commitment Schedule
Corporate:
- Management of corporate costs within the same entity
About you
To be successful, you will have a proven track record in a similar role and will possess the following skillset:
- Relevant qualification – degree or similar is preferred
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Xero preferred
- Have a keen eye for detail & strong computer skills – specifically Excel - we love spreadsheets!
- Perform under pressure and ability to work to tight deadlines
- A ‘Can Do’ attitude and a positive person to be around
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to express yourself clearly and professionally
- You build relationships well, and value honesty and integrity in all you do.
- You love to be challenged at work and can actively contribute to the processes and procedures of the team
- Have a good sense of humour!
