Role Overview:
Manage a fleet of vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability.
Key Highlights:
- Customer Focused: Maintain excellent communication across all levels, ensuring solutions-focused service.
- Operational Accountability: Oversee all administration tasks in your area and ensure efficient and cost-effective utilization of vehicles and staff.
- Safety and Compliance: Attention to detail encompassing safety, NHVL including fatigue and CoR, and customer requirements.
- Take incoming calls/emails from customers to receive jobs.
- Allocate work, vehicles, and staff to meet customer requirements.
- Ensure vehicles and staff are utilized efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Clear communication with drivers, colleagues, and customers.
- Report weekly to the Operations Manager on mutually agreed KPIs.
- Source loads external of prime contracts to keep our vehicles running.
- Source subcontractors as required to meet customer requirements.
- Excellent time management to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong negotiation skills to ensure the best outcomes.
- Ability to balance customer service with the best interests of the company.
- Lead by example with a clear focus on best practice planning and execution.
- Salary: $70k to $90k + super (depending on experience)
- Location: Brendale
- Hours: 8am to 4pm (with the expectation of being contactable out of hours)
